Marketing Specialist

Assist Vice President, Customer Service, and the Sales Department to evaluate the effectiveness of company marketing efforts and develop recommendations for increased market share. This position requires a large amount of customer interaction as well as internal collaboration, as well as working with software tools including QuickBooks and Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Duties include:

  • Developing and maintaining a database of leads to support marketing and sales efforts, utilizing QuickBooks, Tigerpaw, and other software tools.
  • Designing methods, questionnaires, surveys, polls, and data collection resources.
  • Tracking and reporting the effectiveness of all marketing efforts through metrics and analytics.
  • Assisting with data mining of existing Customer Relationship Management to new ConnectWise Customer Relationship Management.
  • Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing marketing data using statistical software to create recommendations related to market research, developing strategies for marketing content based on market research, and developing cost and price analyses.
  • Working with sales representatives to support all projects with marketing research to understand customer trends, habits, needs, and preferences to implementation through the Tigerpaw/ConnectWise Project module.
  • Assisting project managers with marketing aspects of customer projects utilizing Customer Relationship Management.
  • Assisting with the marketing analysis of data to report on marketing performance and develop recommendations for improvement based on market research, consumer behavior, and industry standards.
  • Supporting marketing planning activities for events, promotion, and strategy across various media channels such as digital, traditional, and social media.
  • Supporting and evaluating the effectiveness of the marketing budget and corresponding forecast by channel and assigned projects.
  • Interfacing and building relationships with customers and vendors to gather information and developing and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through networking and prospecting.
  • Managing the Site Support agreements and the renewal process with customers and maintaining a database of relevant dates and inclusions/exclusions.
  • Completing necessary documentation as needed for the marketing plan to support the Sales Department.
  • Providing weekly status reports on marketing recommendations for project improvement to management teams.
  • Modifying user accounts/email settings/profiles.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of the information within the CCI central data repository (i.e., Tigerpaw). Verify and update, when necessary, customer account information such as account name, address, main telephone number, point of contact (POC) name, POC email address, and POC telephone number.

Position requires (1) Bachelor’s degree in applied information technology, data analytics, business administration with a concentration in information/data, or similar field that is closely related to data analysis. (2) 6 months of experience (either paid or unpaid) in a marketing strategy position, as well as 6 months of experience with each the following: (a) Working with Customer Relationship Management software. (b) Developing strategies for marketing content. (c) Developing cost and price analyses. (d) Working with software tools including QuickBooks and Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). (3) Successful completion of background check.
